Blog-xieties

What if:

...no one is reading?
...what if people are reading?
...I don't say the right things and the smart things?
...I really am alone out there?
...people think I'm a total idiot?
...people think I'm a total basketcase?
...I say too much?
...I don't say enough?
...I'm not political enough?
...I'm too political?
...I'm too queer?
...I'm not queer enough?
...someone gets mad?
...I have nothing to say?
...I have lots of things to say but I'm too chicken to say it?
...people think I'm the worst mother in the world?

What if ....

  1. Heh. No worries on any account. I've addressed this a couple of times in my own blog and the truth is that none of this matters. If nothing else you've written something for yourself to look back on. A permanent tribute to your family and your struggles and victories in life. Even if nobody does read it, you will in the future.

For the record, I find your blog interesting and erudite. Keep it up. I'll keep reading.

  3. I love your blog and think you're awesome. I think most bloggers would feel the way you do...kind of putting yourself out there for everyone.

  4. I'm pretty sure most people who write a blog have those same feelings now and then. That's okay. No matter what you do, you'll have doubts. Keep writing. Keep sharing. I think it's important for you to say the things you have to say, and for you to share your perspective.

Thank you for sharing your self.
